This note provides an overview of the EU farms located in Less Favoured Area (LFA) based on the latest Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) data available (2004-2005). 54% of the farms represented by FADN are located in LFA, 16% in LFA-Mountain and 38% in LFA-Other than mountain.
